Nicaragua Life

Here Dad is with his study at a coffee shop (that's where they studied that day, the study even bought Dad's coffee!)

Long Story: One early morning one of our neighbors came to our door asking for a ride to Managua (the capital) we get a lot of people asking us things like rides around and money usual their story is for some medical reason, they have a sick family member, they need medicine, etc. and although I'm sure some of their stories are true, we are often skeptical, anyways this guy comes and said his daughter died in Managua the night before and he needed to get to Managua, although we felt bad, we had to say no as always. After continuing to talk to Dad he comes to find out this guy wanted us to not only take him to Managua but to bring his dead daughter's body back!! Our first reaction was of course "is that legal" evidently it is! Later that day we saw this funeral parade going around our neightborhood.

Our sound system has been having problems at the hall, this is how we had to hear the music to the songs one meeting, thank goodness for smart phones!

I guess this somehow qualifies as a bus...
On this street one day the three of us found a study who was working towards becoming a publisher, very sweet, very talkative! She gave us each a mango. Then later we met a sister and her family who lived across the street, she gave us all bananas. They both invited us back to visit many times. Such a nice morning, what happens when you put the effort forth to go out, even if your body wants to stay in bed :)

Service break

We got our JW.ORG sign up!

In this picture you can see us after the third time dad ran out of gas! This particular time we were on our way to Diriamba (15 minutes away) for a study after we ran out of gas we: took a bus to Diriamba, checked on the study, went to a gas station to find out they don't have small containers for gas, went to another gas station for it, and got the same bus back to our car.
