Every 6 months we have to renew our visa by leaving the country for 3 days. The cheapest and closest option to do this is to hop the border to Costa Rica. We drove for an hour and a half to a beach town called Rivas then left our car at a Brother and Sister's house, taking the bus for the next 30 minutes to the border. It took us another couple hours on the other side to get to the town we stayed in. Here are some pictures of our adventures.

In Rivas in the parking lot of Maxi Pali (a supermarket here owned by WalMart) we saw some enjoyable sights, here you can see the tail of a puppy sticking out of the guys arms, as they headed home with lots of groceries. |

Can you see the teddy bear this guy brought with him? |

In Costa Rica we got Papa John's pizza one night, it was delicious! |

Here is what we did most of the trip. |

...even though we were only two blocks from the beach :/ we're suckers for air conditioning. |

Mom and Dad went to the beach at lease once a day to walk it. Alyvia and I joined once... |

The area we went to was called Playa de Coco which is known for their sunsets. Can't you see why? |

This is the newly dedicated Kingdom Hall (before they were meeting in the back yard of the place we stayed at) which hosts a small English group whose first official on their own Sunday meeting we attended while we were there. We even ran into a brother Dad and I went to pioneer school with. |
