Sing Language Meeting

Mom and Lyvi are attending the Sunday meetings. This brother is holding his study's hand and signing the meeting because he is going blind too. Very moving!

This brother give mom her sign name this week. He gave the discourse. He was very happy.

Preaching

Although these pictures tell otherwise we don't take that many breaks, that's just when we get our cameras out.

You can see Dad in the background figuring out the territory.

As you can tell we are very happy! Because this is the best life ever. ;)

This is a bag of mangoes we bought from an old lady on the street who had been carrying them on her head. We had just gotten back on the bus from Jinotepe where we went to the market and got 12 mangoes for only 40 cents (10 cords), we were very happy thinking we had gotten such an amazing deal, but then this lady came up and sold us all of these mangoes for only a little over a dollar! And they are delicious!!

Flowers Alyvia took a picture of out in service the other day, they are evidently called frangipani.

Nicaraguan street

Our group including many visitors, ones from Spanish, and studies, but also missing a few.

Outside of our front door, since you all haven't seen any pictures of our house yet.

A giant avocado I found on the side of the road out in service. Later that week from the same lady we bought the mangoes from we got a bag full of avocadoes for only 80 cents (20 cords)!

Laguna

We love going to the Laguna for Funday Mondays! What it is, is a Volcano that is now extinct which is filled with water. The water is somewhat salty telling us that it is somehow connected to the ocean, but no one knows how it is connected, and no one has ever been far enough down to have seen the bottom! Creepy? A little, but it is amazing so you pretty much forget that creepy factor while you are there. According to the amazing internet there have been over 230 species of birds documented there and 220 species of butterflies. Along with many fish (although I have not seen many there thank goodness!) 6 of these fish are found exclusively at this nature reserve.

Beautiful!!

This is Ashley and I, Ashley is who I owe for some (all) of the pictures on this post and many others, sadly she went back to the states, so I must now find other's pictures to take. We had many great times with her.

Kayaking on the Laguna

When any of you guys come and visit this is definitely a place we will take you! It is only about a 30 minute trip from where we live.

Zone Visit

This is another over due post of our Zone Visit (which is no longer called a zone visit, but I don't remember the new name). We were tied in with the Mexico Branch to get to see Brother Louche's talk. He did the whole talk in Spanish, which was very impressive!

Here you can see Brother Louche being projected on the wall.

Afterwards

Memorial

I realize this is a bit late for our memorial pictures, but I just realized I had never put them on and we had gotten (and by gotten I mean others have posted ones on instagram for me to take) so many good ones, and many to introduce you to ones in our group, I had to post them.
Our attendance was 32 with only 17 publishers! The total attendance for San Marcos was 444 with 59 in the Sign Language (which Alyvia and Mom attended right before the English), and 343 in Spanish!!

The Martin Family whom we were very close to in Panama came down to visit us and came to our memorial, here we are with Teena and Danielle.

Mom's study Wendy came and really enjoyed it, since then she has also came to many meetings, the special talk, and the assembly.

The sister in the middle was actually serving in the Sign Language Congregation, but she came to our memorial, now she is headed off to serve in Mexico Bethel, we are very happy for her, but she will be missed.

Micha and Teresa on the far left are both still here serving as single sisters until November.

I was asked to do the sound box for the first couple minutes of the memorial before the brothers came from the Spanish memorial to take over.

Melissa, a sister serving here, with two of her studies that got to come.

This is a very sweet family, the dad spent time in the states so he speaks English. The mother is a very talented seamstress that made our dresses we wore to the wedding we attended in the States and one my mom wore to the convention there.

A Quick Run Home

We just got back from a trip home to work during May and June. As you can see from these pictures we got to do a lot more while we were back too.

During our first week back we went to Dad's brother, Josh's wedding.
A sister here in Nicaragua did an amazing job making our dresses

With Nana

With Cousins

We also visited this wonderful family from our old congregation that are soon to be serving where the need is great

We had lots of fun with Chyria, our youngest cousin

Kansas City Museum of Arts

We got to go to our first Convention back in the States since we moved to Panama. It was so nice to be tied in with the International Convention in Detroit.

We took an entertaining road trip to New York with family, right after the Convention

On the road trip Alyvia wouldn't play our game with us so she had to be handcuffed to Mom while going to get breakfast at McDonalds

We got to see the Archive Museum in Brooklyn Bethel!

We got to eat at both Brooklyn and Patterson, here we are at the latter with our tour guide

In Patterson Lobby

In Patterson they had things set that you could pose by for pictures
Preaching with Caleb and Sophia

A place set up in the shipping department in Wallkill where you could act like you were working there

At Wallkill with Josh our tour guide.
Every time we visit Bethel Alyvia and I stand by these big rolls of paper and take a picture to see how much we've grown

Walking through Brooklyn
You can't help but be happy at Bethel

Getting ice cream at Jacque Torres

After we went and did the Woman and the Seed Tour at the Met Museum (which was amazing. It was so cool to see things that people we read about in the Bible possibly saw and touched) we went and walked around a little in Central Park, Adin found a geocatch and we got to see the YouTube sensation skateboarding dog, which was very impressive

We went in service with Jonas in New York, who was also back in the States from Nicaragua working
We did the invitation work for the upcoming International Convention in New Jersey! Although we weren't invited to go... :(

And here we are working hard, gardening for a sister

Our last week in the states we went to World's of Fun with friends and family, it was a lot of fun
All in all we really enojyed it, it was a really fun trip! We really enjoyed being with everyone!
