Talks

 The Spanish congregation that hosts our English group split on August 1st. Their last Thursday night meeting together Alyvia and I had a talk....yes in Spanish. I was very nervous, but the talk went well enough, it doesn't really matter though since I'm pretty sure no one remembers the talk itself. Why? Because right afterwards I tripped off the stage... in front of around 150 people...while wearing flats that I had purposely put on so I wouldn't trip! It was pretty graceful though, I caught myself on the stage before I did any serious damage, but I'm still pretty sure I'll never live that down.

On August 7th we had our monthly English group Theocratic Ministry School and Bible Study in the back room. It turns out that was right about the same time as our group's one year anniversary! The parts really did our group proud having 4 our of the 5 parts using technology, either showing pictures, using jw.org, or using the watchtower online library.

The meeting was exceptionally encouraging because two studies came and squished with us in the back room. Both studies (one of which is an 11 year old little girl) came on their own!
